Diwali Markets - People, Streets, Life

A photographer by choice but a psychiatrist by chance Jyotik Bhachech is a street photographer who finds love and life on the roads of tar.

The last minute to the festival awaits people, city, shop, life and markets to come to life. As Jyotik began his Deepawali shopping experience at the old city, he realized there is much more than what meets the eye. He froze these moments and captured not only the Diwali Fever on carts and wagons but also the flowing energy, emotions, chaos across the streets, through a miraculous device that enhanced human creativity at an extended level, mobile phone. Business minds bargaining, busy family discussing, kids enjoying cracker boxes or few of them crying to buy one, the sareewala vendor ornamenting his shop, accessories and gods hanging across the road stalls and so on. The whole scenario is an atlas of India’s true emotion and life, depicting the land of festivity in its real sense.
