Tiny Lens - Mobile Collectibles
Sonali Dalal, from Ahmedabad, is a hobbyist photographer, one for whom this medium is a tool towards meditation. Since her beginnings in this field, Abstracts have attracted her a lot. She is someone who is instinctive and would want to capture the moment and the emotion of that moment instantaneously. This style of hers led her to use the mobile device as her handy tool to capture moments. She does use SLR for her portraits and candid street shots, her other areas of interest, in this PHOTO STUDIO we feature a set of stunning abstracts captured from her mobile device.
As these are collections through the tiny lens of the mobile device, she calls this collection ‘Tiny Lens – Mobile Collectibles’. Sonali has shown her work in two solo shows titled ‘Chiaroscuro’ and ‘Point of View’. She has also been part of many prestigious group shows. Her credentials boast of two solid recognitions in the form of Gold Medals at the 73rd and 76th Photographic Salons of Japan, in 2012 and 2015.
