Pink Pearls of Porbandar

Jitendrasinh Sodha a Porbandar-based professional photographer who has been in the picture industry since decades has this week shared his beautiful album based on the birds of Gujarat with the Photo Studio of Creative Yatra. Bagging dozens of solo photography exhibitions across India, Jitendra’s till date contribution in the field of visuals has been tremendous. His work has been published in numerous media platforms including National Geography and has been awarded various dignified accolades too. Jitendra completed his fine arts from Sheth CN School of Fine Arts and trained himself in envisioning things with a unique vision.

Within the album ‘Pink Pearls of Porbandar’ Jitendra has covered one of the most socializing communities amongst bird species, the greater flamingo. A fleet that always flies together, look back for each other and even feed each other’s infants while the concerned parents are not around. This bird has always been an important species of Gujarat that migrates from abroad, but unfortunately today its count is diminishing at a drastic level. This album is to generate an awareness to save these birds and avoid the contamination of their habitat. We at Creative Yatra admire the creations by artists and recognize them, so how can we forget the greatest artist of history, the nature !
