Nature as ‘Art’

A keen interest of his son towards wildlife, especially birds gave him a new perspective as a photographer. Collaborating his skills of photography with a story formation has perceived people with a twist in their vision. He thanks his mentor for teaching him a lens skill through which he learnt to see the uncommon in the common figures, viewed simplicity in complexity and started envisioning light within the shadows. He believes that his zest towards monochromatic photography removes distractions for spectators and gives them a clear message about its subjects.

Within this album Jay has tried reflecting bird formations and outlines through playing with lights and shadows. You may see still as well as motion photography with maximum detailing in the series. His picturesque photographs gives feel of a beautiful carved painting as he tries to show strokes in every pixel of the photograph. The serenity and simplicity which uniquely focuses on the subject is truly tremendous. His captures of abstract are something which is not easily visible in commercial photographer. It wouldn’t be too far fetched to imagine that his professional background of Radiology, has a bearing on his artistic perceptions.

We are happy to bring to you this enriching photo collection!
