Monsoon magic of the Dangs

Niraj Patel, who began his journey as an armature photographer, turned into a commercial photographer when he witnessed the beauty of the world through a lens on more frequent intervals. Owning a design and printing business for adjusting daily bread-butter, Niraj is a CN fine arts graduate and began his journey of professional photography in 2010. Niraj’s commercial photography is heavily aesthetic based as he curates his projects very selectively.

 

During his trip to The Dangs, Gujarat Niraj was anticipating to explore the hidden beauty of this historical and princely state. The natural beauty of the lush green forest areas, gushing wild watery streams, long and narrow forest strides is incomparable with any other place in Gujarat. The state’s weather is infamous for its heat strokes, but the place turns into heaven during monsoons, especially The Dangs. The beauty of this land doubles when you travel it on feet, the feel of touching the dew filled raw clouds flowing by past the swirling winds while walking is mesmerizing. The heavily loaded water brooks clashing with the edgy rocks and creating amazing waterfalls with uneven elevated lands is something that every backpacker lures to experience.
