Three years, ten authors, one-story - Altitudinis – available soon at your nearest book store!

Something is simmering in the Ahmedabad literature hotpot: a collaborative novel with a single plot crafted by ten authors from various walks of life.

The 10 authors of Altitudinis – Madhu Menon, Priya Narayanan, Indira Nityanandam, Kusum Choppra, Tulika Saha, Anu Chopra, Shruti Gohel, Shagun Shukla, Krunal  Sangani and Kalpana Ramrakhiani.

Altitudinis – Seekers, Sinners & Secrets is the new book that will be released on July 28, 2019. It brings together published writers, content writers, teachers, interior designers, radiation oncologist, IT entrepreneur and environmentalist who have all have contributed to make this one of a kind novel a possibility. The ten authors are Anu Chopra, Indira Nityanandam, Kalpana Ramrakhyani, Krunal Sangani, Kusum Choppra, Madhu Menon, Priya Narayanan, Shagun Shukla, Shruti Gohel, and Tulika Saha who worked for three consecutive years to put together this romantic-thriller.

The contributors say that the book is not an everyday young adult category book. The plot is brimming with mysteries, murders and relationships crossing and re-crossing boundaries. The action-packed plot takes its reader to Mt. Tibba, Manali, Mhow, and Mumbai, and promises to keep them on edge.

It is said that the idea of creating this novel was incubated over WhatsApp after a chapter was drafted by Kusum Choppra. The culmination of the book was achieved after several joint writing sessions, twists and turns, and a lot of brainstorming by like-minded folks who come from various walks of life but with a common aim of working cohesively and creatively. They wrote, rewrote and eventually narrated a captivating story in the form of Altitudinis – Seekers, Sinners & Secrets. Author Kusum Choppra shares ‘From the snow-clad peaks of Hanuman Tibba to the sleepy cantonment town of MHOW, Altitudinis is an unputdownable tale of intrigue and romance that intertwines ordinary people in extraordinary situations.’

The book will be published by Ahmedabad based Multi-pen Publishers and will be available in most book stores and online. Team CY wishes all the best to this one of a kind literary initiative taking place in Ahmedabad.
