Mix the City is mixing cities across the world. An app developed by British Council that helps users to combine original music as well as vocals originating from diverse regions through simple operations. The Mobile app has been launched n Mumbai and Delhi right now, and it gives even a layperson who isn’t completely aware of the chords and musical aesthetics an opportunity to merge completely different instruments and sounds to create a single musical piece.
The Mix the City till now, helped to merge music from cities including Mannheim, Hamburg, Moscow and Istanbul. The app not only helps the user in tasting international music but also to reconnect with its own traditional tunes.
