Meghdhanush sings Le Lee with Rahul Ram from the band Indian Ocean

When was the last time you laughed at yourself? Meghdhanush which actually means rainbow in Hindi is an Indie Rock Band that has recently come out with a quirky and lyrically clever song titled as ‘Le Lee‘. No, it isn’t a Chinese person they are talking about here, ‘Le Lee’ is a song that is dedicated to a one-sided lover who keeps on chasing a girl, but the girl is not so much into him. We all have gone through this at some point of life, isn’t it! The song and the video is a depiction of this eventuality. The Music Video is ideated to divert the serious topic of an unfulfilled love into a humorous situation of moving on.

The album has been titled as Mijlas which actually means a milestone in Hindi. The album consists of 7 songs, which are all bear the ‘Meghdhanush’ stamp of the folk and rock concoction.

Meghdhanush Band that hails from the heritage city Ahmedabad, has composed some hit singles like Shaktimaan, Bawari and has also composed a chart topping number for Gujarati Movie too. Well, the most interesting part about the track ‘Le Lee‘ is that it features Rahul Ram from the legendary band, Indian Ocean. Rahul Ram has been a people’s favorite artist and his song Bandeh from Black Friday still gives heebie-jeebies to every listener. It is great to see him collaborating with the young band to create some fresh tunes.

The radiance of band members and Rahul Ram in the video certainly takes its viewers on a musical laughter ride. Creative Yatra wishes that the album receives a warm reception from young music listeners and it adds to the emerging trend of creativity being channelized into the Indie Music scene.
