Hello, yatris! As we fast approach towards Women’s Day, the team of Creative Yatra would like to wish all the women and we hope you enjoy this day to your fullest. And we suggest all the men to take their wife, girlfriend, mother or sister out to a great evening which shows them how important they are to you. And worry not, we have your back. With the 251^st edition of Ahmedabad Art Weekly, we have curated some of the best events happening in the city this weekend so that your fun time does not get wasted!

First up, celebrating Women’s Day, Doorbin has organised a Women’s Special Heritage Walk exclusively for women, which will take the explorers from Manek Burj to Manek Chowk while unveiling some interesting stories. Another exclusive women’s event is organised by the team of Jalso. Inaugurating their first edition of GoKitty, join Pooja Dholakia in a yet another interesting session of Vaachikam.

Natarani has also taken up this opportunity to dedicate a weekend’s worth of enthralling performances that celebrate the womanhood. And to kick off this week, we have the nightingale singer, Meera Desai and her amazing band, the Meera Desai Quintet performing and an enchanting jazz concert.

While Vaishakh Ratanben’s Poetic Justice won the hearts of audience in the 3^rd edition of Abhivyakti, he brings this amazing play for one more time to the stage of Ouroboros. If you haven’t catched it yet, you should not miss this opportunity.

Punit Pania is coming to Ahmedabad with an all new stand-up performance, titled ‘No Country for Moderation’, which covers everything from science to religion to politics including the omnipresent special ingredient, human stupidity.

The graceful and prolific dance group, Sanjukta Sinha Dance Company is presenting an incredible performance at the Tagore Hall, titled ‘Anat Pravah’. Alongside Allah Rakha, Talvin Singh and Shubh Maharaj, experience the bravado of classical artforms.

We also have two must-attend exhibitions lined up for you. ICAC Art Gallery is going to be adorned by some magnificent artworks by an ensemble of Ahmedabad based artists who have dedicated their works to their mentor, Shri Nagjibhai Chauhan. Secondly, six monks have congregated to create a Sand Mandala at the auditorium of Sarabhai Foundation. As the process will take them almost six days, you can witness them making it!

Converting Ahmedabad into a gastronomical playground, Zomato Ahmedabad is organizing the city’s first edition of Zomaland, a mini carnival of good food, good music and some good memories.

As you all might know, the most colourful and entertaining festival of our nation is right around the corner. Taking place on the 10^th, cities all across the nation are going to be painted in vibrant colours as we celebrate the magnanimous occasion of Holi! A festival celebrated with utmost zeal, by kids and elderly alike, we celebrate this festival to spread happiness and joy, as well as welcome the season of harvest.
