And taping into the realm of art myths, Indrapramit Roy, an eminent painter and illustrator, will debunk the misconceptions people have regarding art while conveying his perception of art.
Born in the city of Nadiad, Vithalbhai Patel was an Indian legislator and political leader who co-found the Swaraj Party. He was the elder brother of SardarVallabhbhai Patel and was revered for his oratorical and wit. He became the President of Central Legislative Assembly in 1925 and had worked immensely for extending primary education to municipal districts in the Bombay presidency and improving medical practices in the country.
For his contributions to our freedom struggle and virtues that guided freedom fighters, we salute him and dedicate our 240th edition of Ahmedabad Art Weekly to his legacy.
