‘Amruta Gandhi, Not Guilty’ is a play that talks about the feminine and the social hypocrisy dominated by money and power holders. The stirring drama is a social commentary and will feature sophisticated recitalists including Mehul Buch, Tusharika Rajguru and Shilpa Patel. श्री और ब्लू an inspiring tale of two friends named Shree and Blue is going to motivate the audience to reach out even for their most impossible dreams. The 100-minute long anecdote starring upcoming theatre actors  Shivam Parekh and Shashank Arya has been drafted by budding playwright Saurabh Saraswat.

Celebrate the festival of Holi with utmost bliss while listening to some of the most gracefully drafted poetry performed by veteran poets and performers of Gujarat at the सांस्कृतिक संध्या व कवि सम्मलेन. The evening promises to be a culturally exuberating extravaganza for people of all age group. Enjoy a tête-à-tête with Frederick Lavoie, a Quebec based Canadian non-fiction writer and journalist who will elaborate Amdavadis on the topic of ‘Resisting Fake News’.

Ahoy Ahmedabad! National award laureate visual artist Vipul Prajapati is all set to come up with his latest solo show at the city’s most loved culture destination, 079 Stories. The show is a compilation of drawing and paintings on various themes that are mainly showcasing his thoughts and recent experiences in the most aesthetically sound manner.

The Unread Open Mic event is all set to unfold with the opening of a poetry anthology that comprises works of 100 writers hailing from approximately 30 different cities. The creative fiesta will be celebrated at Project Otenga and host stand-up comedy performances, musical renditions, literature recitals etc.

Artist Manish Chavda will bring his exuberant oils in the show titled ‘Song of Birds’ at the Hutheesing Centre. Chavda is known for his lavish depiction of natural elements, in his work he provides a unique vantage point to view the intricacy and beauty of nature.

The week is full of colours and merriment to mark the vivid festival of colours, Holi. And 203rd Ahmedabad Art Weekly is celebrating the occasion with utmost enthusiasm and encouraging people to relish it with utmost fervour. The festival is said to mark the Spring Equinox and is said to be an official initiation of Spring season and end of the winters. On this day people celebrate the victory of good over evil by distributing sweets and applying colours on each other and Holi is considered to be amongst the most important festival in the Hindu religion. So through this, we wish each and every a happy and safe Holi and request each one to save as much water as possible.
