For its 184th edition Ahmedabad Art Weekly takes inspiration from Vinodini Nilkanth, daughter of illustrious parents Vidyagauri and Ramanbhai Nilkanth. Like her parents even she was a gifted literati and was a remarkably astute Gujarati author, translator, and academician. She has several literature accomplishments on her name including a novel, three short story collections, two essays, various columns in regional daily Gujarat Samachar, and five children literature books. She has been honoured twice by the state – once a Gujarat government award for Angulino Sparsh anthology and the Gujarat Sahitya Sabha Award for her short story collection Dil Dariavna Moti. As an academician, Nilkanth served at Vanita Vishram and Municipal Girls High School as a Headmistress. She was a part of the Gujarat Vidhya Sabha and a professor at the S. N. D. T Mahila Pathshala.
