Relish the 99th Ahmedabad Art Weekly because the 100th AAW is going to be larger than life. To witness the grandeur release of 100th Ahmedabad Art Weekly come up to Kanoria Centre For Arts on March 17, 2017. We have planned a spectacular installation that will narrate the charm of Ahmedabad and its people. We in association with Kanoria Centre for Arts have also organised three artistic workshops with veteran artisans coming from the background of Mud Mirror Work, Zardozi work and Print Block making. And we promise to deliver a fresh flavour of Ahmedabad with the upcoming 101st Ahmedabad Art Weekly.
Artist Nagji Bhai Chauhan is the inspiration behind the 99th Ahmedabad Art Weekly. Hailing from Jamnagar, the western part of state of Gujarat, Nagjibhai was very much inspired by Saurashtra region which is visible within his art too. For a long time, he was a professor of art at Sheth CN College of Fine Art, and many accolades have been awarded to him for his contribution to Contemporary Art. He has done many solo art shows within his career, and even today CN College displays many of his paintings within its gallery. Team Creative Yatra gives a heartful tribute to this great artist and invites them to their latest art exhibition held at Ravishankar Raval Kala Bhavan till March 12, 2017.
