The 85th Ahmedabad Art Weekly brings you a cluster of creative events from across Ahmedabad. We don’t get tired enriching you because we want you to spend your time towards the most productive direction. Thus this week we bring you a compilation that quenches everyone’s creativity thirst. A refreshing morning full of delicacies, music to the ears of every foodie. Also, this week city is hosting some aesthetically strong visual art exhibitions. People enthusiastic about literature, adventure sports, photography, architecture, and theater should totally not get worried because we also have some of the best events on board for all of you too.

It has been 85 weeks since we are hosting the Ahmedabad Art Weekly and every week, we bring you a list of culturally enriched information about Gujarat and its people. This month we have dedicated our theme to the traditional musicians of Gujarat and start the first week of December with Avinash Vyas, the famous Gujarati music composer, singer, and lyricist. This jewel was able to embed his art in more than 190 movies and is also the winner of Gujarat State Film Award for best lyrics for 25 times. The Padma Shri award winning musician was born in Gujarat and was formally trained under Ustad Allaudin Khan for learning the art of music. Within his career Vyas, composed music for over 1200 songs and overall worked on more than 10,000 non-film and film songs. Gujarat’s land is rich in heritage and culture and people like Avinash Vyas are an integral part of it.
