The nation is celebrating its 70^th Independence Day and Creative Yatra completes its 70^th week of enriching people with its presence, what an amazing reason to cherish the No. ‘70’. The city dwellers are welcomed again by the 71^st Ahmedabad Art Weekly, where we have this time curated a few interesting events.

An art spree is in the pipeline, where art installation, painting competition, and photographs have been beautifully displayed. The city full of expressions has drama and theatre performances always on its chart. The musical evening, wildlife adventure hiking, movie screening, literature awareness talk, and a political debate are something that is also helping you in getting enriched this week. Academically less educated but practically high learned, among Gujarat’s best authors that ever lived, Pannalal Patel, is the inspiration for this week’s Ahmedabad Art Weekly. Born in Dungarpur, Rajasthan and studied in Idar as a classmate of Umashankar Joshi, Pannalal’s first novel was written when he was working in Ahmedabad. His numerous novels and spectacular short stories led him to the highest honour in Indian literary realm, the Jnanpith Award. Every Gujarati novel reader still remembers Pannalal as an eminent soul, who lived in a form of an author.
