With this we roll out the 104th Ahmedabad Art Weekly and it features some fantastic Art exhibitions, Talks, Literature meets, Film Screenings, and other culturally enriching events waiting for you to visit!

This week our inspiration for the 104th Ahmedabad Art Weekly is Keshavram Kashiram Shastri, alias Ke Ka Shastri. Shastri who was the founder member of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad was born at Junagadh in 1905. He was a Sanskrit scholar, prolific writer, flawless academician and a great poet. His literature records include more than 240 books and 1500 research paper, for which he was called as the mobile dictionary of Gujarati language. Shastri was also a mentor to the current Prime Minister of India- Narendra Modi. His prolific works include a 8800 episode book on Mahabharata titled ‘Jaisamhita’. Shastri has been honoured with Padma Shri for his outstanding service to Gujarati literature. Creative Yatra pays a heartfelt tribute to Ke Ka Shastri through its 104th AAW.
