My First Step by Mukesh J. Thakkar
Mukesh J. Thakkar is a perfect story of an artist on a creative journey, someone who is purely driven by the need to express through his art. Mukesh Thakkar took photography about two years back. He chose to take formal training and selected Ketan Modi’s Navgujarat Multicourse Institute to enter into the realms of photography.
Since then he hasn’t looked back, and have persistently worked to evolve his style of photographing. After nearly two years of starting, he finally feels confident to share his work in the form of exhibition. The exhibition has a lot of variety to offer. Nature, Streets, People, Festivals and Events, all of these attracts his eye and that is what one will see in this exhibition.
The exhibition inaugurated on 28th April, 2016 at Ravishankar Raval Kala Bhavan, Law Garden, and will remain open till May 1st, everyday between 4 to 8 pm. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Ketan Modi alongwith Shri Vivek Desai (Trustee, Navjivan Trust) and Shri Vrajbhai Mistry (Renowned Artist and Photographer), who were the Chief Guests of the event.
