Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10 day festival celebrating the vigour of the lord of beginnings ‘Ganesha’. The first Day is a chaturthi, idols are brought to home on that day, worshipped for 10 days and than on 10th day are submerged in river waters, marking the cyclical nature of life.

However this becomes a great opportunity for creative devotees to make distinct idols of the popular lord.
