Starry Nights

Being a marine engineer, Dhanraj Wadiwala has spent eons travelling the land to oceans and back again. While his exploring journey is in progress, Dhanraj has a personal interest towards photography. His belief of considering photography as the real ‘me time’ has helped him in making ‘click pictures’ more than a hobby.

One late evening, a visit to a nearby beach turned his vision for the sky, stars and night totally upside down. His single insomnia midnight walk gave him an entirely different perspective of visualizing the picturesque landscapes in lens. In this album, Dhanraj has tried to exclaim how dim light can be a boon for night photography. He took more than 5 years and various remote destinations to discover unpolluted corners of landmasses and click magnificent astronomic pictures. Stargazing is his favourite pasttime, and it has now helped him in visualizing a different perspective of sky through the camera lens.

Photography is a creative art, wherein the key element is timing, and while clicking natural pictures the subject is not bound or restricted to be stationary within the frame. Dhanraj is still mastering it and looks forward to being an established star trail photographer one day.

We at loved his work, and it is here for the audiences to enjoy the timeless beauty of skies through this album.
