The only weekly that Charlotte city has been waiting to refer before wrapping their boots for the weekend, the Charlotte Art Weekly edition six. This week the city has been hosting some of North Carolina’s most enriching events, including theatricals, musicals, visual treats, culinary gathering, literature meet ups, and brilliant movie screenings. The Charlotte city has been crafted with a lot of efforts by the Charlotteans that is why every week, we painstakingly sort the best of the events happening within the city out of thousands of others.

Charlotte Art Weekly 6 is dedicated to musician Arthel Lane Watson alias Doc Watson, who contributed musical industry by being a songwriter, guitarist, and a fantastic multi-genre maestro songster. Watson lost his eyesight before he turned one but won numerous accolades including seven Grammy awards for his fantastic Then and Now and Two Days in November. He perfected genres of blues, bluegrass, country, folk and gospel and could play vocals, guitar, banjo, harmonica and various other instruments.
