Know What’s Best in Charlotte This Week: Fifth Edition of Charlotte Art Weekly

One of the America’s most prosperous towns is receiving its fifth edition of Charlotte Art Weekly. The Weekly is a compilation list of the most creative and enriching events of the city, and if you are an organiser of one of such fantabulous events, then we are ready to feature your gig on our website. All you have to do is signup on our website, select the user’s corner and submit the details. If your event happens to be creative, you will also have a chance to get featured on our CAW list, which is currently reaching to thousands of connoisseurs every week. So join and receive an extra mileage for your initiative.

The CAW 5 has been dedicated to Wilbert Harrison, a Charlotte born creator, who sung blues and rhythm, painted, played guitar and harmonica and became the early rock and roll era star. Everybody is aware of the billboard topper record Kansas City; well we are today talking about the creator of that song. Born in 1929, Harrison was one of the hottest musicians of America and produced great records including the “Let’s work together” single of 1969 and “My heart is yours” in 1970. He produced records, toured many cities in the 80s and his version of Kansas City was performed by famous musicians including The Beatles, James Brown and Ann-Margret.
