The Dazzling Dang Diaries

Dazzling Dang Diaries

Thank god, Dang is the most unpopulated district in the state! At least it survived against the urbanized hampering going around and could still preserve its natural serenity. Saurabh Gabbar who has been staying in the neighboring district of Tapi was fascinated by the sheer beauty of Dangs and decided to capture it in his lens and show the city dwellers what wilderness they are missing out while staying in their civilized concrete jungle. Saurabh in association with Gujarat Lalit Kala Academy organized the Dazzling Dang Diaries photo exhibition at Ravishankar Raval Kala Bhavan from December 17, 2016, till December 19, 2016.

The spectators can literally notice Saurabh’s patience while capturing staggering star trails, mesmerizing milky way and enthralling night sky pictures. His pattern of bringing the still photography into life through using slow shutter speed while capturing numerous monsoon waterfalls of Dangs was something that exaggerated the profoundness of the proffered subject.

Dazzling Dang Diaries

The Dangs being a sloppy hilly area cannot withhold much of its monsoon water and thus faces dire drought conditions during the scorching Gujarat summers. Saurabh made sure that he not only captures the rosy monsoon pictures of the landscape but also the pungent bitter truth of Summers during his exhibition.

It was like the story of The Dangs being described in this visual compilation. The city need such visualizers and visuals to keep its citizens environmentally enriched.
