At the Teaser launch of new Gujarati Film ‘Bhanwar’
Popular culture mediums, particularly Motion Picture has largely taken over every other form of enrichment, across the globe. Writer-director Aditi Thakor in her upcoming Gujarati film ‘Bhanwar‘ touches upon the art form of ‘Puppetry’ that is nearing oblivion. To tell her story, Aditi has assembled an experienced ensemble having actors like Neil Bhatt, Tarika Tripathi, Aditya Lakhia, Prashant Barot, Daya Shankar Pandey and various others from the film and television fraternity.
While interacting with these artists during the teaser launch press meet, creative movie maker Aditi Thakor expressed her 5-year journey of making Bhanwar in these words, “The film doesn’t differ between rural and urban Gujarati cinema. The story carries the flavour of a village dreamer, who wants to prove his abilities and be a part of the urban happenings. It is an age neutral family drama, and every viewer will have an opportunity to find a slight glimpse of him/herself within the characters of ‘Bhanwar’. The film will open in theatres in the first week of April and Bhanwar team is quite excited to ginger up the audience with their performances.
