Take your first step towards a healthy planet on World Earth Day

word-earth-day

World Earth Day was first celebrated on 22nd April 1970 by Senator Gaylord Nelson, who was distressed that a concern as crucial as our atmosphere is not being tackled anywhere in politics or even by the mainstream media. Today World Earth Day is a world-renowned civic observance with over 1 billion people involved in activities related to environment conservation.

Pollution is a humongous problem and nobody, but we are responsible for this mess, but still, it isn’t too late to solve this issue. Just make sure to switch off the lights before leaving a room, plant trees around your surroundings, use carpooling, public transit or a bicycle for commuting and eat locally sourced green veggies. These steps will reduce your per day carbon emission count beyond your imagination.

There are even industries that have taken Creative Initiatives to create a sustainable environment like Air-Ink by Graviky Labs that helps in making ink for art by using pollution emitted by vehicles and also Whirlpool’s Zera Food Recycler a compatible machine that turns food waste into homemade fertiliser within 24 hours.

So the real question here is, when are you taking your baby step for our mother earth?
