LIDAR Scan Reveals Angkor's historic city

LIDAR sends out a million laser points to create a digital outline of the land’s surface. Scientists are using these high-tech renderings to uncover the secrets of Angkor Wat and the original metropolis that once surrounded it.

Angkor Wat, in Cambodia is the largest man made religious city ever in the history of mankind. In Indian lore this is a widely known fact how Dravidian Kings exported technology and skills to build this 900 year old city.

The recent revelations will lead to more information about this historical site.
