The brand new Gujarati movie Karsandas Pay and Use is something that Gujarati movie adorers are eagerly waiting for. It seems Prime Minister Modi’s Swachhta Abhiyaan is inspiring lot of creativity around. Recently a mainstream Hindi Film starring Akshay Kumar has also been announced, which has ‘toilet‘ at its center point; its titled ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha‘.
‘Karsandas’ has its titled dipped in colloquial Gujarati milieu, and from the trailer, the movie comes across as a romantic comedy that revolves around the theme of pay and use toilet. We loved the trailer, it is interesting and extremely fun filled, and has all signs of a pot-boiler. The tagline serves as a nice laugh point – it reads ‘Prem Nu Pressure’ (Pressure of Love). Karsandas has been directed by Krishnadev Yagnik, who has also delivered the famous multi starer Gujarati hit of 2015 ‘Chello Divas’. The movie is expected to release by May 2017.
The poster and the trailer of Karsandas are indeed describing a unique set of creativity of filmmakers, and the rustic toned dialogues of leading cast Mayur Chauhan and Deeksha Joshi exaggerates the drama of the overall plot. We hope this draws the crowd to the theaters, just as ‘Chello Divas’ did.
