ISRO Celebrates World Space Week Through a Fascinating Exhibition

When news hit my laptob screen mentioning Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) within its headline, my body automatically started pumping adrenaline making my chest grow three inches stronger with pride. Imagining the advancement of our nation in the space, whether it is about their new research centre set up at Guwahati or the update in satellite technology ISRO has been at the forefront on excellence.

Since this is the World Space Week time we were notified about a creative initiative taken by ISRO. The space organisation has organised a cluster of activities for children including competitions of painting and colouring, crossword, paper model making, space quiz and even a firsthand discussion opportunity with scientists to celebrate the World Space Week. Including all this, there is also a sky gazing chance for citizens, where they have an opportunity to watch celestial objects through a telescope which is timed from 08:00 pm to 10:30 pm (Weekend timings would be 04:30 am to 06:30 am). There is also an exhibition that showcases a real spacesuit, a model satellite, a replica of Mars Landing project, and various other fascinating space stuff. The commemoration will last until October 10, 2017, at ISRO, Ahmedabad and it is worth a visit.
