Dubai city is not entirely sufficient with the world’s tallest building and the biggest shopping centre title and has now collaborated with Microsoft and designed its font and became the world’s first city to do so. The new Dubai font is available in 23 languages, and the typeface is available in Latin and Arabic scripts. The font is to give an ideology of ‘self-expression’.

The government officials have now been told to use the Dubai fonts for all their written communications. The Crown Prince of Dubai Hamdan Bin Mohammed al-Maktoum was personally involved during all the stages of its development.
