Amit Shankar's 'Cafe Latte'

Writer, dreamer and storyteller, Amt Shankar an established contemporary and fiction writer from India, who has gifted the literary world a collection of brilliant writings like Love is Vodka, Flight of the Hilsa, Chapter Eleven, Cafe Latte and Poetry Coffee Table book ‘Never Alone, Only Lonely’, is in news for an unprecedented achievement.

 

Cafe Latte has found a place in the Limca Book of Records for being the first ever book to be launched with a short film inspired from the book. A collection of 18 unusual short stories, Cafe latte has different fictional characters, who guides the reader towards an imaginary world. One of the short story titled ’26 Down Express’ has been made into short film with the same name.

 

A benchmark novelist, Amit likes the smell of fresh brewing coffee in lukewarm water. His is a wanderlust and a loner, who enjoys cooking and has an avid love for music. He believes writing is not only enjoyed by him as a hobby but it actually gives him an opportunity to have a god like feeling, it is that time when he creates characters and compose their lives as desired.
