April 18 the World Heritage Day was celebrated differently by the local civic body Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Ahmedabad that is striving to reach up to UNESCO’s the World Heritage City list now has an interactive Mobile App, called Ahmedabad Heritage City Guide App.
The app consists all the essential heritage destinations including its details, history, information, directions and everything that a tourist needs to know. The App has been developed in association with Tourism Corporation of Gujarat and AMC’s heritage department and covers in all 150 culture-rich destinations of Ahmedabad. From traditional Pols to Indo-Islamic architecture the Heritage App has overcome the need for a guide to relish the essence of the old city.
Not many people are aware of these age-old destinations of Ahmedabad, but the authorities are now pretty hopeful to receive a flock of tourists and even the local crowd to get inclined towards their roots and visit these destinations. The app is currently available for Android and IOS Mobile phones with no downloading cost.
The heritage is just a click away; it’s a great opportunity to touch the legacy through your touch screens!
