All in all the Ahmedabad Art Weekly #60 is cool mixed bag.
In the series of painters that we are drawing this month, we end the month by featuring the prolific Ravishankar Raval. A painter, a teacher, an art critic, an essayist and a journalist – all rolled into one, he belonged to a rare breed of creative geniuses. Rightfully anointed as ‘Kalaguru’ (grand master of art) by the great litterateur Kakasaheb Kalelkar, Ravishankar Raval was behind many art initiatives in Gujarat. We hope to be inspired from his deeds and take the art and culture activities in this region a step ahead than where it is.
