Parched

Water plays a significant role for the existence of life on planet Earth. The liquid matter is certainly important for every species’ survival, but photographer Mukesh Acharya is not talking about life within that. Throughout the album, ‘Parched’ Mukesh has explained the life phenomenon above our preoccupied notions.  The life in the dry state. And not in liquid. With a punch of creativity, Mukesh is capturing this topic since a long time now. He captures some of the most beautiful stills within nature in dry form and brings it to life. Just like his imagination imitated a parched flower, in the shape of a heart (An organ that exemplifies life in its truest form).

Mukesh, a design head who has been following his passion for photography since eons, usually adores capturing wildlife stills through professional lenses. He sees beauty in contradictions.  Monochrome shades, nature, and patterns work as his vision for exploring a subject. The theme ‘Life in Dry’ has been an integral part of many exhibitions throughout the country.
